A team of 10 highly experienced medical personnel was selected to join the China International Search and Rescue Team (CISAR) and dispatched to the quake-hit areas in Myanmar.
The 10-member contingent comprises specialists and practitioners from diverse medical fields, including orthopedics, emergency medicine, rehabilitation medicine, disease control and prevention, clinical laboratory science, pharmacy, nursing, and gynecology. On the morning of March 29, the team departed from Beijing Capital International Airport for Myanmar, carrying emergency medicines, personal protective gear, and medical supplies.
